Healthy Snack Ideas


One of the hardest things about sticking to a work-out routine and healthy diet is being a student and studying or in classes all the time. If you’re like me and you are a full-time student, it’s super hard to keep your pantry stocked with fresh foods, and find time for the gym. Since I am studying exercise science, with a huge interest in nutrition, I am always looking for new ways to make being healthy easier, so here’s a list of some of my favorite healthy snack ideas for your next trip to the grocery store:

  • Baked Sweet Potatoes chips.
  • Honeycrisp apples with nut butter (try to pick a nut butter with less than 3 ingredients).
  • Any kind of berries!
  • Avocado toast on gluten free bread topped with hemp seeds .
  • Cranberry Almond Homemade Granola Bars (click here for recipe).
  • Carrots, Broccoli, Cauliflower, and humus (any flavor!).
  • Baked Potato Fries with Coconut Oil.
  • Gluten Free Cereal (Kashi GOLEAN Cinnamon Crisp Cereal).
  • Fresh fruit (Pineapple, grapes, strawberries).
  • Almonds & Macadamia Nuts
