Today I’m talking about what’s in my makeup bag year round! I usually stick to similar shades and the same look for my every day makeup: a little bit of contouring, shimmery eyelids, bold liner & lashes, and a berry colored lip. I’m going to take you through the main steps of my everyday makeup to help you learn my simple look! (click on the pictures to shop the product)
~ Eyes ~
Eyes are my favorite part about doing my make up! You can change your whole look my simply just using a different color. For the purpose of this post I use Tartelette in blossom clay pallette on a daily basis. These colors are so flattering on any skin tone. The Tartist Pro Palette is one of my absolute favorites! All of the pigments are so bold and vibrant and they look exactly the same on your skin. I then use the stay all day waterproof liquid eyeliner by Stila to create a bold cat eye liner followed by a coating of the best mascara out there, they’re real lengthening mascara by Benefit!
~ Face ~
I always do the exact same thing with my face every day! I first start out by applying MAC’s oil control lotion. I have super oily skin so I need something that is going to help me control the shine throughout the say and this stuff does the trick! I then use MAC’s Pro Longer Foundation (I wear NC40) and apply a thin even layer over my entire face.
I then use Tarte’s double duty beauty shape tape contour concealer to contour my face! I use a dot patter with highlights under my eyes and on my chin and top of nose. The dark outlines my cheek bones and it works perfectly for my face shape (I use the medium and the deep)! After contouring I use a translucent powder, to matte the concealer under my eyes. To bring it all together I use MAC’s loose mineralized foundation (in medium or medium dark) which makes my face blend so much better.
If I feel like the definition isn’t dark enough (which sometimes it isn’t depending on if I have a tan or not) I use Anastasia’s medium to tan contour kit. To make my high check bones pop I use Too Faced Love Flush palette to add a naturally rosy look and I finally finish off my face makeup with a pop of Too Faced love light prismatic highlighter!
~ Lips ~
Finally to finish off the look I use a very simple neutral lip color! My go to is always Tarte’s lippie lingerie matte tint (my fav color is exposed!). This product goes on so smoothly and keeps your lips extremely moisturized throughout the day!
